Peru is preparing to open up shops and other parts of its economy after months of lockdown. 

But many question the move as the country has the world's sixth highest number of COVID-19 cases.

Scientists and doctors say lifting restrictions will mean a spike in cases.

But some economists argue the recession, with a 40% drop in economic activity in April compared to 2019, could have an even greater impact than the virus.
