Poverty and poor health put Brazil at the center of COVID-19 pandemic

Brazil has the second highest death toll from COVID-19 in the world.  

Johns Hopkins University reported more than 1.36 million confirmed cases and at least 58,314 deaths.

Sao Paulo is one of the cities with the largest spike in Brazil. Its deaths toll exceeds 12,500.

Population density is aggravating the spread of coronavirus in Brazil.
