Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro confirmed on Tuesday that he’s tested positive for COVID-19. 

Throughout the pandemic President Jair Bolsonaro dismissed the severity of COVID-19. 

He even referred to it as a "little flu." Now the fact that he has been infected does not seem to have changed his attitudes towards the disease.

Bolsonaro repeated his views that the pandemic is overblown and that social distancing measures are exaggerated.

He even took a couple of steps back from journalists and took off his mask at the end of his news conference - so people could see in his face that he appeared well.
