Disney World in Florida officially reopened two of its four parks - the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom to the public on Saturday after a four-month lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A temperature check is required before each guest enters the park. If the thermometer reading is 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, the guest must have a second reading. If the temperature remains high, the person's entry will be rejected.

Face masks are mandatory. But guests can remove their masks at several relaxation stations to rest under air conditioning. They can have food and drinks there but must always keep at least 6 feet apart from each other.

Hand sanitizing stations and safety signs are found throughout the parks.

Guests must follow the floor markings for the lines.

The park also uses signs to block some seats and tables to enforce social distancing rules.

According to USA Today, the park was not crowded on Saturday, but the wait times for the rides were much longer than what the Disney app estimated.

Disney didn't release how many visitors would be allowed to enter on Saturday, but the New York Times estimated that the park would admit less than half of its capacity.

On Friday, Florida hit the highest single-day increase in more than a week, with 11,433 new COVID-19 cases.
