In February, the U.S. signed a peace deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan, designed to ultimately end the nearly two-decade long war in the country.

The deal included the U.S. reducing troop numbers down to 8,600 within 135 days of signing the deal, and a full withdrawal of U.S. and coalition forces within 14 months.

But continued attacks and violence linked to the Taliban is putting the agreement in jeopardy, including a Monday attack on an Afghan intelligence compound that left 11 dead. Will the Taliban hold up its end of the bargain and will the complete withdrawal of the U.S. and its allies be possible?
