U.N. warns COVID-19 pandemic could worsen global hunger

The COVID-19 pandemic is thrusting populations around the world deeper into a hunger crisis, as lock downs hamper food access especially in countries already struggling to feed themselves.

​A new report from the United Nations say that at the current rate, as many as 132 million more people may be left hungry by the end of the year.
