U.S. GDP growth in record slowdown

Millions of Americans are unemployed. Once thriving city centers are deserted. 

More businesses and companies are going bankrupt. 

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to take a drastic toll on U.S. growth. GDP shrank the most in the second-quarter since the end of World War II. 

The economy contracted nearly 33%, beating the previous record of 10% set in 1958.
