The world continues to see a rise in coronavirus cases including France and Germany, where fears of a resurgence have countries on edge.

The World Health Organization is calling for unified leadership.

Last month, the Trump administration announced the U.S. is formally withdrawing from the WHO.

The U.S. remains the epicenter of the virus with more than 4.8 million confirmed cases and nearly 160,000 deaths.

The virus does not discriminate. In the state of Ohio, Gov. Mike DeWine tested positive Thursday for COVID-19. His scheduled meeting with President Donald Trump was canceled.
