Thousands have been protesting in Lebanon following a deadly chemical explosion at the port of Beirut last week has left more than 200 dead and thousands injured and left homeless.

Prime Minister Hassan Diab resigned on Monday, the government will now act in a caretaker role with limited powers until Parliament can form a new government.

Many see Lebanon at a crossroads, where reform must happen to move forward.

We talked to Lebanese journalist Ghadi Francis about the current political climate and what could change now.

Francis is also the author of the book "My Pen and Pain, One Hundred Days in Syria".
