A Palestinian girl cries as her home in Jerusalem is demolished. The Israeli government has been criticized for its demolition policies which often target Palestinians for failing to acquire permits.  Only 7% of building permits go to Palestinian areas of Jerusalem even though they are 40% of the population, according to Haaretz.
