Epic Games filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple and Google in the U.S.

Both companies had removed Epic’s wildly popular video game ‘Fortnite’ from their app stores.

‘Fortnite’ is one of the world’s most popular survival video games- with at least 350 million users.

Epic has accused Google and Apple of monopolistic behavior in the way they distribute apps to devices.

But both companies claim Epic violated their in-app payment guidelines, by rolling out a new way of making in-game purchases that bypasses both companies.
