Dozens of indigenous people in Brazil are demanding the government protect them from COVID-19, by blocking a major highway in the Amazon. The Kayapo Mekragnotire blame authorities for the deaths of elders and the infections of dozens more.

Tribe leaders say people from outside their territory are spreading the virus because there are no restrictions on entering their land. 
Some are wearing black paint to represent their grief and fighting spirit.
