Due to coronavirus pandemic, a famous dog competition is going online!

Surf Dog-A-Thon is underway in California and people can send their dog videos from anywhere around the world.

The fundraiser competition usually takes place every September at Del Mar Dog Beach in Del Mar, California.

Professional surfers are judged on length of ride, size of wave ridden, costumes & maneuvers such as walking on the board, turns on the wave, hanging and barking.

Your pet could also be a couch surfer, if not in real water.

The proceeds from this event go to a life-saving animal shelter, Helen Woodward Animal Center.
