Kamala Harris is expected to give an acceptance speech for vice president candidacy tonight at the Democratic convention. How much impact could her candidacy have on the November election?
Many supporters believe Kamala Harris has a solid resume.
"Because it is so diverse the experiences that she's had, she's been the DA, she's been the AG, running the second largest justice department in the country, second only behind the federal Justice Department… And she's been a senator now. There’s nobody who has more progressive voting record than she has," said Billie Mizell, Exec. Dir., Acting with Compassion & Truth.
Darry Sragow, Democratic Strategist said "Who the vice presidential candidate is does not make much of a difference. I mean, first of all, voters are focused on the presidential candidate, number one… and number two as I said, when you're running against an incumbent, they’re really focused on whether or not they want to re-elect somebody who already has the office."
