Five bridge sections were successfully rotated into position to form an overpass on Friday in the southwest Chinese city of Chongqing.
It is the world's first construction that synchronized five bridge sections and swiveled them to complete an overpass, all of it above three railway lines, according to China Construction 5th Engineering Division.
The rotation took just 82 minutes and did not disrupt normal operation.
This 381-meter-long and 21,000-ton overpass is a crucial part of the expressway which will speed up travel time for commuters.
