Colombia suspended national and international flights at the end of March, in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus. On Sept 1, the country approved a select number of national flights.

One of the airports to resume operations is International El Dorado Airport in Colombia's capital.

El Dorado Airport gave CGTN a first look at biosafety protocols in place at the airport – regular temperature checks, cleaning crews, and new check-in equipment to help reduce wait times.
