In today's world, it's tough to get by without a cell phone.

Yet, in many poor communities, wireless coverage is poor and expensive. In Brazil, one company launched a wireless service ​specifically catered ​to the needs inside one of the country's biggest slums in São Paulo. It proved a good business opportunity and ​is now a source of pride​ too, for local residents.
