Last month, "The Great American Outdoors Act" was signed into law by President Trump following its overwhelming bipartisan approval in Congress. 

It will funnel nearly $3 billion a year to conservation projects and maintenance of national parks and other public lands. 

Supporters say it's the most significant conservation legislation enacted in nearly half a century. 

But others argue, this is only small step given the administration's track record in the rolling back on other environmental issues. Learn more.
