Community organizers develop organic food project in Brazil’s slums

The COVID-19 outbreak has left millions of poor Brazilians struggling to pay for food, but some community organizations have taken the lead in responding to the pandemic.

One non-government agency, for example, is promoting access to organic food in Rio de Janeiro's "favelas" taking advantage of a population that is staying home to promote healthy eating.
