How China won the COVID-19 battle

The COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan has affected the most celebrated holiday in January, Chinese New Year.

As the outbreak spread, the country called on its people to refrain from traveling in order to limit the transmission of the virus.

Following the outbreak, logistical support was crucial to winning the battle. Factories restarted production of protective suits and masks that were urgently needed on the frontline.

The government centralized all production process by seizing control of all essential resources.

Green Passage was created to allow for more efficient shipments of medical resources and other essential supplies to the epidemic stricken areas.
