Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in Moscow on Thursday for crucial talks about the border tension between the two countries.
According to the joint statement by the two leaders, they agreed to stop escalating the current conflicts near the border. In addition, they encouraged continuing talks between both countries' defense ministers to ease tensions.
Both sides intend to push for negotiations about border standoff to bring back peace and safety to the area.
They are also expecting to further strengthen mutual trust as the tension eased.
