Hurricane Sally brings flooding along U.S. Gulf Coast

Hurricane Sally made landfall early Wednesday morning near Gulf Shores, Alabama.

At landfall, Sally was a category 2 hurricane with top winds up to 105 mph.

Moving at only 3 mph, the storm caused a significant amount of flooding and wind damage. 

Downtown Pensacola had nearly 3 feet of water flooded the streets. Overnight more than 40 people had to be rescued in Pensacola due to the high water.
