Frida Kahlo, one of Latin America's most famous artists, and a global feminine icon.

Considered by many as a woman before her time, this 20th century painter is celebrated as much for her convention-busting style and way of life as the art she created. 

From the south​ern reaches of Mexico City, her house itself ​is a work of art, and today serves as a monument to her life and work, curated by museum director Linda Trujillo.
