During the Hispanic Heritage month, we look at Símon Bolívar, Latin America's 19th century independence hero. He has had two countries, a currency and even a satellite named in his honor. He is seen as instrumental in inspiring a sense of unity in the region. 

And, as Stephen Gibbs reports, part of his enduring legacy is that his legacy has proved adaptable.
