Cuba is the guest of honor country at Beijing’s International Book Fair this year, as both nations mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations on September 28. The Caribbean nation’s collection at the exhibit includes nearly 20 titles by renowned publishing houses.

Some of the best-selling books from Cuba will be on display at the annual Beijing International Book Fair running September 26 to 30. This will be an online event for the first time due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The long-standing and strong bonds have brought the two nations together in what can be best described as an example of cooperation and political will for the well-being of the Cuban and Chinese people.
