Separate research from the UK, the United Nations and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control finds teenagers and young adults who have not contracted COVID-19, are suffering from higher levels of mental health issues related to the pandemic than other age groups.

A CDC survey found nearly two thirds (62.9 %) of young adults aged 18-24 report experiencing anxiety, depression or both. One in four reported seriously considering suicide. (25.5 %)
