More than 214,000 Americans have died of COVID-19 and the pandemic shows no sign of slowing down. 

Johns Hopkins University reported more than 57,000 new positive cases in the United States on Friday. The virus is active in all states, but one state stands out for its effective handling of the crisis that has helped it achieve one of the lowest infection and test positive rates in the country.
