During the annual meetings held by the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, delegates from around the world agreed that a global economic recovery can be achieved in a more inclusive, greener, and smarter way in the post COVID-19 era.

China is determined to eliminate extreme poverty in the country by 2020. In an exclusive interview, CGTN's Yin Yue spoke to Zhang Tao, Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, about how China's poverty reduction efforts will contribute to the global economic recovery.
