Thousands of indigenous people in Colombia are marching in the capital, Bogotá, demanding to meet with President Iván Duque.

Indigenous groups want the government to do more in protecting their lands, protecting indigenous leaders and implementing a peace agreement. Joined by social activists and Afro-Colombians, about 7,500 protesters are in the capital. Mayor Claudia López, organized for the city's main sports centre to be used as an overnight base.
