Investors look to co-living and apartment-sharing after COVID-19 pandemic

Apartment rents in major U.S. cities may be dropping as folks flee urban centers amid the COVID-19 crisis.

But some venture capitalists are raising funds to take on the co-living or apartment-sharing sector.

Co-living involves communal arrangement where people get a private bedroom in furnished housing while sharing a common area with other people.

Investors believe that it shows huge potential for growth -- especially in New York City.
