Colombia is now the eighth country in the world to reach one million confirmed cases of COVID-19. 

It has been more than seven months since Colombia reported its first case of COVID-19. Despite reaching the one million mark, officials say nine out of every 10 Colombians who were infected with COVID-19 have reportedly recovered.
