People in Nice, France paid their respects to the victims of Thursday’s lethal knife attack outside of the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Basilica, which left three dead and marked the second major knife attack in the country linked to Islamists ideology.  

The assailant, identified by the as 21-year-old Tunisian Brahim Aouissaoui, was shot by police and arrested in the church. The attack has also raised the security level in the country to its highest, with President Emmanuel Macron deploying 4,000 additional soldiers across the country.
