President Jair Bolsonaro, often dubbed in international media as the "Brazilian Donald Trump," has officially endorsed the sitting U.S. president in his reelection bid against challenger Joe Biden.

The outcome of that November race will say much about the likely direction of U.S.-Brazil relations.

Bolsonaro has a stake in this vote, as he's leaned on his alliance with Trump, to advance much of his right-wing agenda.
