The U.S. central bank kept interest rates at near zero this Thursday to help the economy out of the COVID-19 crisis.

Rates have been cut to the same levels used to rescue the U.S from the banking crisis of 2008.

And while the Federal Reserve has enormous influence on the global economy, there is concern it may be running out of options to help as the coronavirus surges again.
