The Masters tournament starts at Augusta National Golf Club in the U.S. state of Georgia on Thursday after being postponed from April due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is the first time in history the event is being held without crowds.

The rain and threat of storms in the state forced play to pause for about three hours, preventing the first round of the contest from completing on Thursday.
