The owner of popular Chinese video app TikTok is asking a U.S court for more time to sell off its American operations.

Bytedance is trying to negotiate a sale with tech giant Oracle and supermarket chain Walmart. 

But it says it needs more time as a 90-day order from the Trump administration to divest, expires Thursday.
