COVID-19: Americans ignore travel warnings

The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas in the U.S. is traditionally the busiest travel season of the year. 

In 2020 that season has arrived during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and that has led to the strongest warnings yet from U.S. public health officials to stay at home. 

But that's the problem, they are warnings, not orders, and they're being widely ignored.
