Regulations and high prices keeping Americans away from hospitals

The healthcare system in the United States is highly regulated and over-priced. A new study by the largest nurse union in the country found that the cost of healthcare has dramatically risen over the last two decades, with some hospitals charging up to 18 times the amount of the actual cost for providing some of the common medical treatments and services. According to the union, this leads to less people seeking medical care even when they're not feeling well.
