Mexico’s president is beginning his third year in office and says his program for social progress is on-track. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador delivered a state-of-the-nation address.

He said there's still a long way to go and acknowledged some of his pledges have been hard to keep.

At the National Palace in Mexico City, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador began his third year in office by saluting the symbols of the Mexican nation.
