Maduro claims victory in parliamentary election

Venezuela’s President Maduro has claimed "a great victory" in the country's parliamentary elections.

His ruling socialist party won 67% of the seats, above the two-thirds majority needed to give sweeping powers to the parliament when it convenes in January.
