This is going to be an important week for the United States and the pandemic, possibly approving a COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use. 

Several key hearings will take place in Washington, DC.

A biotech company and a mega-pharmaceutical company are nearing completion of vaccine testing for immediate use, and if all goes well, the first vaccines could be available for high-risk people soon.
