Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island erupted Sunday night, turning the sky shades of orange as the lava mixed with water and sent clouds of steam and ash into the sky.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the eruption had little risk to the public since it happened inside Volcanoes National Park.
Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
