The disappearance of Chinese scholar Zhang Yingying in 2017 made international headlines. 

The search for Zhang and her family's fight for justice ended in a court decision not to sentence her murderer to death. 

A new documentary "Finding Yingying" details that story. 

But instead of focusing so much on the grisly crime, the film aims to honor Zhang​'s life.
