Los Angeles, the heart of the entertainment industry, has now become the epicenter of the corona virus. And that’s having a prolonged impact on the television and film production industry.
Many studios were already operating under coronavirus restrictions but given the recent surge in the number of cases and hospitalizations, the largest labor union representing film and production workers has recommended a hold on in-person production in Southern California. The announcement has led to a near-total halt for all productions in Hollywood.
