Divers have retrieved Sriwijaya Air Flight 182's flight data recorder, or ‘black box,’ from the Java Sea Tuesday. Officials hope it will determine why the plane crashed into the sea with 62 passengers on board.

The Boeing 737-500 went down shortly after take-off Saturday. Crews are still recovering debris and remains from the Java Sea.  No survivors are expected to be found.
