At least 20,000 National Guard troops are on the streets of the U.S. capital as it prepares for Joe Biden's inauguration as president of the United States.

This year's ceremony will take place under unprecedented security restrictions following the attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump earlier this month.
