Colombia has confirmed 2 million COVID-19 cases despite restrictions

In Colombia, a wave of COVID-19 infections that began in early December is threatening to swamp hospitals in many areas. Despite increasing restrictions, the country has confirmed more than 2 million cases and over 50,000 deaths due to COVID-19 as of Sunday. And, it's not clear when vaccines will be available.
