The world's largest charitable ice fishing tournament goes virtual this year in the U.S. state of Minnesota due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To avoid large crowds during the event, organizers ask participants to fish on any lake in the state during normal contest time and date.
Anglers are required to upload the pictures of their catch, tickets, and fish measurement information to the event's web-based app. A team of committee members will examine each fish entered to prevent cheating.
