There's a worldwide race to get people vaccinated against COVID-19 and beat the pandemic.

But that also means there is an international race for access to the vaccines approved for use.

Brazil is making strides in large part due to a partnership launched between São Paulo's Butantan Institute and Sinovac, the Chinese lab behind the CoronaVac vaccine.
