Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on U.S. farmers

Across the United States, farmers have been categorized as essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they continued their labor in agriculture and livestock production to ensure continued food supply for the whole nation. But now, their role is at the heart of a debate in the state of Arizona, where the majority of them are Hispanic immigrants who have been disproportionately impacted by coronavirus. And yet, they have not been included in the Phase 1B stage of vaccinations.
